Hi all I have a 2001 Jetta that needs some work, I have to change the throttle body but every one I talk to, or read about changing this thing says I have to have the throttle body recalibrated is this true or is there a way I could do this my self
So a few nights ago i was about 2 miles away from home and my light for my Oil came on. I know im an idiot and my motor is more than likely seized but please dont remind me haha. Anyways When i got home i loked underneath and it was swamped with oil. I figured i cracked my pan, but it does not seem cracked. First of, I love the GLI and there are almost no complaints besides the front driver and passenger seats. I don't know what it is, but I am getting a constant pain on my left back thigh that runs down to calf/knee area. I am always moving and jerking to get a comfortable position. I've got a 2006 2.5 and it's starting to rust about the two front wheels. It's really the only spot, and its starting to get pretty bad, especially on driver side. The car has been really good to me and looks great elsewhere, so trying to figure out what my options are from other expertise. Hate to drop too much money into it, but don't want the rust to keep spreading either.
I heard somewhere that there is a rust warranty on the car, is that true?
