Brake Pedal Travel - 2001 Jetta |
|

Hey,
I am using my aunts 2001 Jetta Automatic while my car is in the shop this week having a sunroof installed. When I press the brake pedal nothing happens until it is almost on the floor. The brakes don't even start engaging at all until the pedal is about an inch away, and you really need to put it on the floor for the car to come to a complete stop.

Its a six speed in automatic, but it has a tripstick and sport transmissions also available.
Thanks.

Hello. This is my first post. I'm not too savvy on VW's so here's my question:
My wife's 2002 Jetta 2.0L with 110k miles has allot of squeaking in the suspension and it bounces all of hell when going over bumps. I'm thinking the struts and shocks need replaced (there original). What do you recommend? Anyone have Bilsteins on their Jetta? (I have Bilsteins on my Land Rover Defender 90 and... [Read More]
