Engine Vibration/Rattle btwn 2100-2300 RPM |

My 2002 2.0L makes a weird vibrating or ticking noise around 2200 RPM. The engine sounds fine before and after this RPM. It doesn't matter what gear I'm in, even in neutral the noise is present.
It's not the cat converter. I just had it replaced and I noticed the noises before I had it replaced.
I don't think it's knock because the sound is unique to a particular RPM.
Could it just be that something is loose and I'm hitting it on resonance? Any ideas are... [Read More]

So tuesday I put in a long day of studying and I go to my car at like nine thirty and guess what happened. Driver side window gets smashed in, my JVC stereo gets stolen, ipod stolen and glove box completely ripped out. Just when schools about to end and I can start spending money on modding her up. Now got to replace everything.

Relays? |

Where can you get replacement relays, and how do you know specifically which type of relay you need?
I need nk3 Jetta relay #1 (A/C), relay #11 (dual horn - what is that?), and, most importantly, relay #8 (wipers - it is ridiculous driving in the rain without wipers)

Just bought a 02 jetta 2.0, replaced timing belt and cam sensor, car started and runs, then looses oil pressure 3 minutes into running. drop pan and thrust bearings are laying there. Is this a common problem or is this motor shot?
also the speedo does not work, replaced the speed sensor and no change car still won't shift out of 1st or 3rd not sure. Should i cut my looses and get rid of car? ... [Read More]
