Spark Plugs (NGK vs Bosch)
| I have a 2009 Jetta 2.5l PZEV and I am want to change the spark plugs but Im not sure which ones to get. I read that vw runs good with copper NGK but you have to "gap" them. Local places like autozone only seel the NGK Laser DBL Platinum spark plug for $13.49 each! I called the local VW dealer and they recommend Bosch spark plugs for $16 each and that bosch is actually factory for the VW. Should i get the NGK or Bosch plugs and are there any alternatives other than those super... [Read More] |

98 jetta vr6....should i get a header?
Well i been bouncing around the idea of getting a header for the vr6 and my question to you all is....is it worth it? i know that it will allow the engine to disperse more of the exhaust gases faster and more efficiently and will produce more sound to the exhaust but is there any sugnifficant change in performance or gas mileage. the only reason i am asking is because i know every car is different and want to hear some stories from you guys about headers and if its actually worth the money... Looking at 85 Jetta with vapor lock problems
| Is this an expensive problem to fix? Any idea's what might cause this. Vehicle will drive for awhile then die, wait a little bit and it will restart and drive. Person who owns vehicle now said that mechanic told him it is vapor lock. I am looking to get this car for my teenage son. Any help would be great. Thank you. |
