Greetings all! I just bought my first Jetta 3/15 and I love it
Its a 99 w/150 K, 5sp, 2.0L. Haven't had time to play with the camera yet but it's VW RED and has a few parking lot dings, which I have some VW spot paint to fix.
I lucked out as the check eng light was on during the the test ride and the dealer has replaced two sensors before deciding that the Cat converter needs to go too. He has to fix it before he can do the emissions test that CT requires. And... [Read More]

Hey,
So I am in Afghanistan right now, and my girl hit a pot hole hard enough to jack up the oil pan, drove it home and parked it. Now the shop a friend of a friend owns says the engine won't start and needs replaced. I grew up working on GM's and I've never done much to Jettas.
My options as I see it are part the car or see if I can put more of an engine in it and have some fun.

So i drive the Wolfie this morning to a meeting and come home alls fine..then i get it to go back to work and my CEL is on.....then i notice im getting no turbo action,cant hear it or feel it...i dont have access to check the codes,any ideas why its doing this?is this limp mode?why does this commonly happen?

window stuck in up position with dead motor |

My front passenger window on my 98 jetta wolfsburg is stuck in the up position. I think the motor is dead. The other windows work fine. Nothing happens when I press the buttons or use the key. The problem is I can't take out the regulator assembly to change the motor because the window won't budge. Please let me know your thoughts.

hey guys anybody have a jetta or a golf 4 door has to be 5 speed tho.. any color dont have to look brand new it just cant be badly damaged and it has to run pretty well have money in hand... just pm thanks
