Yippee! I finally got my car running good! All it took was a new timing belt, a new dizzy and cap, new(used) plug wires, new plugs,and a new fuel filter... it ran good for not even twenty four hours and then I went on a ten mile drive, when I parked I noticed a whole lot of oil coming from my car! I immediately freaked out!! Upon further inspection I found that the oil pressure switch on the oil folter flange was crap, $8.50 later I'm back in business LOL

i havent found parts yet, i was going to buy parts off this guy in town but he sold his engine. so i guess it time to call the junkyards. how much did you get your parts for and what did you get? so i know how much to pay for before i go out and buy stuff.

no, i have obd2. i plan to keep it NA and maybe turbo in the future but thats a big maybe. but after i do the swap im going to Email Tectonics Tuning and ask about getting a chip programmed differently for this kind of swap. i will probably get a set of cams and valve springs but those are freaking expensive.

and the parts you need are dependent on what you want to do. im going to go real basic and just do the headswap and keep the 8v internals, fuel and electrical system. you can swap out the 8v stuff with the 16v internals but i dont want to go through that hassle.
