I've been trying to figure this out...
I own a 03 Bora VR6 24V.
And I found a set of bumpers, for an 05 Bora R Chinese version... They looked really nice.
Now they are two different years, similar models.
Is it possibly to replace the bumpers, just like that? Or will there need to be trimming and such?
Bumpers:
Was it built in Europe or the states? If the states then it's just a Jetta. If in europe then it's a Bora. VW isn't like Mercedes where all their cars are built out of the states and imported.
Well, that's the funny part. Neither.
It's classified as a Jetta under the U.S.
The VIN number, I believe, states that it's a Bora. But assembled in Mexico.
It's the 200 hp VR6.
Word, if its built for the US it's never as good as if it were built for Europe or yes I'm saying it, Japan lol. Your 24v VR GLI is just a first generation GLI with a cooler engine at the cost of the cooler looks lol
I hate hangovers. I just had trouble understanding what yuo guys were saying at first.
But yes, I know it's just a GLI with a tag... haha But it's a Jetta. I love it.
Fair enough?
OH AND THANKS FOR ANSWER MY QUESTION
