What does your interior look like??

Vicky asked me for pics after I detailed my car today... So I thought I'd just make this into a thread about people's interiors. When people post pictures of their rides, it's usually the outside.

So lets see what you have inside! Personally, I dont have a place of my own... So my car is my domain. The dirtiest I ever let the inside get is maybe some dirt on the floor mats, maybe some dust on the dash... But you'll never see soda cans or McDonalds bags rolling around.

My interior is 100% stock except for the boost gauge ofcourse, but its in remarkibly good shape for its age IMO.

The only thing I can complain about is:

My floor mats have holes now... The stealers around me claim they no longer produce MKIV carpeted floor mats which is total bullshit. So if anyone knows where I can get some... Or if your dealer sells them... Hit me up, cause if its not too much trouble, I'll send you cash if you ship them to me! I hate the rubber mats, which is why I haven't just picked up some monsters.

The ''Soft Touch'' paint around my light switch has peeled a bit...

The plastic piece that goes over the gauges is kinda swirrled. I'd love to take it out and buff it like a headlight lense, but I can't figure out how to get the damn thing out lol.

The VW symbol on the steering wheel is scratched up... I'd love to know how to take that out as well, but I dunno if you can.

Enough of my rant, heres my interior (and a couple exterior) pics of my 2004 GLI

And some exteriors for Vicky lol

Sorry about the location.... lol. I'll get better pictures when the sun isn't so bright. The interior is much blacker than these pictures let on.

Very nice Boost. Mine is in dire need of cleaning...but the weekend is here and hopefully the rain goes away!

I'll have to take some pics of my interior once I clean it. Nothing major done, however I do have a 20th Shift boot in my car that I scored for a sweet deal. I love the silver ring around it, so much better then the stock stretchy boot.

If I may ask, I'm assuming your main area up top is the same weird matte finish type deal as mine, so...if it is, what the hell do you clean it with? Armor-All wipes didnt seem to do jack on the weird finish that covers it.

lol thanks bud.... Believe it or not, my foot doesn't even fit under there. Its just stock low... 1.3'' I believe. You'd keep it that way too if you knew the roads in northern NY lol.

Sitrane.. ICE Total Interior Care for the dash, and any other plastics/vynals. Works VERY well. Removes any stains, dust, and leaves a very very fine film of wax. Works great for keeping those parts looking new. Has a nice scent to it too lol, not over powering at all.

I know ICE is considered cheap, but I've tried every armour all, meguires, brand X, and nothing works as good as this stuff. Its like $12 a bottle I think.

Oh and I use a microfiber cloth too. Gets dirty but.. Really does the trick w/o scratching surfaces.

Thanks man :)

It actually could use some work.... Front bumper and pass. fender could be redone. Stone chips.... but other than that, its not too bad.

lol dude its nice, but its not THAT nice. I mean.. if you were to go to H20... You'd laugh at my GLI lol

Lookin clean man! I see you have those fuzz balls on the door pannel as well... I gotta get rid of mine lol they annoy me.

yeah they get on my nerves too. they make these battery operated fabric shaver things that are supposed to remove fuzz balls on clothing but i don't know if it will work on the pannels. i have just been too lazy to try it. here is a link to one on amazone but i'm sure you can get it at walmart or target or someplace like that. i'll let you know if i try it.
