Default Diy: Shaved big bumper mk2

TAKEN FROM ANOTHER SITE:

Things you need:
-Plastic filler
-spray can truck bed liner
-sandpaper
-old bumper to get plastic from

Tools needed:
-Screwdriver
-blowtorch
-orbital sander
-small disk grinder
Step 1
Cut plastic around signal light

Step 2
Clean out rest of plastic to make hole cleaner...

Step 3
Cut out correct sized plastic from spare bumper

Step 4
Heat up screwdriver

Push screwdriver into plastic deep enough to let both parts attach, do this at about a 1 inch interval

Step 5
Here is were other people's methods may differ from mine.. but I like mine
Once transplanted the plastic seems rather firmly in place, I took extra plastic from the old bumper and lit it on fire, and let it drip onto the cracks to fill it up...

Then, you sand it down.. preferably with an orbital sander for quicker results.
The reason i like this method rather then just using a lot of filler is that it's easier to sand..
Here is what it looked like after the orbital hit it..

Step 6
If it's not completely smooth, then put a layer of plastic filler over it

sand it down..

Step 7
Grab your spray can of truck bed liner.. and paint several coats
here is the finished product!

Here it is!

shaved...not shaved.. (it doesn't hurt having a parts car thats the same colour as your good car..)
