So i guess im going to make one as well. im Josh currently in CT and i own a 2002 jetta 1.8t tiptronic and just though id put a new blog up for my car.

Current things ive done
audio headunit and subwoofers/amp
redtop battery
boost guage
blacked markers and repeaters
euro plate

cleaned interior pieces and headliner
Modified intake
Polished headlights
New Splitter Diverter valve
Debadged
Neon in trunk Upgrade
In the mail
Stubby antenna

Need to do
get the car buffed proffesionally and fix alot of stone chips and peeling clearcoat on the hood
probably replace the hood with angry boser
taillights candy red spray
LOWER IT!!!
maybe rims with poke after the lowering
Clean engine block
Ill update this with pics tommorow probably unfortunatley i only have a cell camera so the pix suck but its something i guess.

Search for info on suspension. Apollo (ammrlz) researched it for a while and I know he had some really good info. It's out there, just s e a r c h.

engine mods? other than new pistons valves and rods and cam theres no "engine" mods other than that. i mean intake and i want an exhaust and maybe a front mount inter but im not doing major crap like rods

Chip? Turbo inlet? Manifolds? Throttle body? etc?

lol i like my laptop when i work on my car for the radio and music. the car radio is hard to hear and or to loud and annoying when trying to work. and yes they BUmb HArdd

*note and update* DID the blue neon in the trunk mod to replace the little dinky bulb we all have in the trunk ***did blue cuz it matches the lights on the subwoofers when / IF i ever turn them on....usually i only do to show people what i got o well still cool tho

Yeah, it looks like you need a mouthpiece when you use those, what size are they? I was looking into aftermarket stuff but then I read about how our cars are so small and thin that bass is often overwhelming. Plus i got the monsoon and it does fine for me.

theres 2. seperate boxes (bandpass ported) they push alott of air it overwhelms alot of people but im a basshead so its cool. there 50 lbs each so they dont move around at all really.

duct tape i figured its better than breaking it cuz its reverseable unlike breaking it, i really dont like irreversable mods. hell i didnt even drill holes for my euro plate it fit in the stock holes somehow. it COULD be tighter or w.e but not worth it to poke more holes. haha

dont ever open the trunk and play them loud its bad for the speaker cus where their ported the air has nothin to press against...

haha thanks **polished engine with a scotch brite pad lol** modifying the engine cover tho so the DV sticks out and will look cleaner imo. ill see how it goes today. *too cold for outside mods lol also i need a paycheck tommorw but at least ill get 2 checks
