Question Angel Eye Headlights. Ricey or Not?

    Hey All Junkies.
I am very new to this forum in fact im new to VW's.
I recently bought 1999 (1/2) jetta glx Wolfsburg edition and i was looking at headlight for it. I am requesting some opinions out there on Angel Eye headlights. Are they ricey or are they a good look for mk3?
    Thanks

So 95% of the people are going to say no they look ricey and 99% of the time they are right. Angle eye/ halo/ projectors look ricey on a mkIII. Now that is not to say there is that rare chance where you can get them to look good on your mkIII. I put halo projector head lights on my mkIII. It looks good, not to ricey and i can get away with it. Check my build thread there are pic of my car. It is called "My First Build Tread" (spelled thread wrong) My rule of thumb would be if you have a black car, and you get smoked headlights (black backround) then you might be able to pull it off. If your car is not black and you dont have smoked headlights dont even bother wasteing your money. The other options are to either try a joey mod with your stock headlights or buy e-codes. Hope this helps.

Heres how I see it, Halos+VW=rice. Halos+BMW=not rice. My car had them when I bought it and they looked terrible. It was the first thing I changed.
