Default 07 Jetta- Wiper not working! Help!

Hope someone can help! My wipers stopped working.

    2007 Jetta 2.5 (non-city)
    Front Wiper

    -All fuses are good.
-There is power to the connector that connects to wiper motor.
    -Ground is good.
-Tried 2 other motors and they did not work.
-Hood switch is OK, actually disconnected it.
-Wiper Transmission is OK (6months old)
    -Washer fluid will spray

Not sure what else could be wrong?

    Wiper switch?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thx

    Doug

I would jump the motor directly from battery or if you think switch is bad jump across the switch

Just hook up the motor to the battery by wire. Without anything in between to see if it operates or if it doesn't.

I have not tried that, but I have tried two other motors that will not run when connected also. I was told these motors can not be bench tested, needs the switch line?

Is it difficult to replace a wiper switch? Any instructions online somewhere?

May need to take the hit and bring it into the shop. FML

    Thanks!

It can be bench tested. It has no idea if it is in the car or not. Alot of these newer components are switched on the ground side, so just hooking the hot side to power doesnt work you need to hook a ground as well

a wiper control arm is pretty straight forward, its just plug and play. Hardest part is opening the steering column and thats not even that hard.

i had this problem on my 2006 jetta MKV,and did all possible.than someone told me to put spray them (wiper motor treads-which are made of plastic with WD-40 spray),took an few minutes for it to remove water ,that accumulated around motor assemblies and it WORKED..works ever since,no problems..this happened 2winters ago and never failed me ,ever since...try that..is a 5$ fix,all you do is spray like mad man around where wiper motors go inside firewall...good luck & best regards from Montreal,Quebec,Canada..

i was told that is a common problem on new V generation Jettas..in weather cold, than wet snow melting to water, than cold going to it again is short time intervals, causes a icy build up and jams wiper rods, which are plastic made..spray with WD-40,wait a few minutes,it will start to work, than spray again..than will work better-faster-than spray again...it worked for me 2years ago and is no problems ever since..my VW is a 2006 Jetta ,so i a same thing as yours..i didi that after doing all typeas of tests with fuses, jumoing motor wires,etc..made me go MAD..than i called my friendly mechano ,offered him a case of MOLSON BEER and he told me that fix...good luck with it,CIAO>>

Out of ideas. I have tried two other motors connected to car. And I have tried connecting directly to battery and motors will not run. One motor was from a working car.Thinking I am not getting the signal from the third switch wire?

    Anything else I can try?

Dealer wants $75 for wiper switch or $110 to diagnose.

Was hoping i could find a DIY fix! arrrrhh.

    Hmm theres not much left

Is the motor receiving the proper voltage? There might be some high resistance somewhere in the lines.

Im going to try and remember to get a wiring diagram for you car at work tomorrow. We have alldata pro. No promises because Im alittle scatterbrained sometimes.

I found a relay panel behind my dash.

Do I have a wiper pulse relay?

Anyone have diagram that shows which relays fit each location? I only see numbers.
