Hi all,

First of, I love the GLI and there are almost no complaints besides the front driver and passenger seats. I don't know what it is, but I am getting a constant pain on my left back thigh that runs down to calf/knee area. I am always moving and jerking to get a comfortable position. I do understand I have a gained a few pounds lol but I doubt that is the reason. I drive my wife's car and other vehicles, and I feel fine. She does drive an SUV and the seating position is different. I have tried a cheaper solution which is buying seat cushions. I have gone through 3! They all get returned.

If this continues I will have to switch cars which I don't want to. I realized it will probably be cheaper to get seats than pay $2,500-$3k for a new down payment and be upside down.

My questions to you.

- Has anyone experienced similar pain?
- Which aftermarket seats do you recommend?
- Does a Tiguan, CC or Passat seat fit the Jetta's?

I know Recaro has a few that are designed for lower back and such, but they go for $4000+! I would like to get one with a motor function or atleast height function.

Anyways,
Here are some I have found online.

My top choice is this one: http://www.carid.com/2015-volkswagen-jetta-seats/braum-elite-seats-87673144.html with black and red stitching.

This one reminds me a lot of the current seats. They have the red stitching.

Please help.

Thanks!

She has a Lexus NXT200. I am assuming the height and angle. You're more of a seating position. I have noticed the GLI's don't really raise height. It raises more like an angle but the bottom part of the seat always lower than knee.

Even my Kizashi was able to actually raise or lower and not raise by moving up (higher) or backwards (lower).

Yea i have found that the hole seat moves up but the angle remains the same, if it's the angle that's causing the problem the seats linked from carid are most likely be just as bad if not worse there's probly even more of an angle since there sportier seats and are going for more of the bucket feel
