I have a 01 jetta and the ac just blows hot air. One day it was fine the next it Quit? It seems like the comp. wants to kick in but it just klicks. Also the idle goes up and down when doing so! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
well u have a vr6 right? so i dont know where it is in ur car but im sure its it wont be too easy to get out either then u have to properly refill it so i wouldnt mess with it..if anything just buy the part online i think it was 200$ new or rebuilt then have them do it
well no i meant the wheel outside that the belt is one...like mine if i turn the ac on my wheel doesnt spin and the belts just struggles around it and my whole car shakes
Yes. The pulley is an electrical clutch. The outer part will spin all the time. When the AC is on the inner part should spin as well. IF that all works as advertised and the refridgerant is serviced up then it is probably the compressor itself. Junkyards are your friend.
Yes it is. Sorry just figured you knew. It's over by Sikorsky Mem. Airport in Stratford. Lordship area. Unlimited gets lots of stuff from there and told me if I find anything to get back with them and they'll get it for me at their price.
