I am wpea2361, my 2016 Jetta was recently stolen and then recovered a month later. Both key fobs were also stolen but not recovered. My concern is that even though I can order new key fobs they will programmed with the existing codes and whoever has the stolen fobs could simply steal the car again. I want to know if the codes can be completely changed to prevent this from happening. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

the key fob's will still be active for your vehicle. It's been a while since I have done key programming on a vw but the dealership possibly may be able to erase the other 2 keys programmed to the vehicle and reprogram the current keys you have
